Starters and Plenaries in Design and Technology are a very
important part of a lesson. In my experience, even with the
most troublesome class if you have a readymade starter
activity ready for them when they come into the lesson, you
will be surprised with the silent bliss that will fall upon
your classroom, enabling you to take the register or
whatever your routine requires. These activities can be used
as starters or plenaries to enhance your pupils’ learning
whilst having fun in the process!
